Ambassador program terms

Effective October 18, 2026. Life Academy may update these terms with 30 days' notice by email.

Who runs it. The program is run by David Clifford, doing business as Life Academy ("we").
Joining. We review every application and may decline or end any ambassadorship at our discretion. You must be 18 or older and live in the U.S.
Your code. We issue you a personal promotion code. A referred family gets 10% off Student or Family plan payments for their first 3 months. Codes can't be combined with other codes.
Commission. You earn 20% of the plan payments we actually receive (after discounts, refunds, chargebacks, and sales tax) from each new family that first subscribes with your code, for that family's first 6 paid months. Tutoring purchases and families who were already customers don't earn commission. You can't earn commission on your own household's account.
Payment. Commissions are calculated monthly and paid within 30 days after the month ends, once your balance is at least $25, by PayPal or check. Commission from a payment that is later refunded is deducted.
Taxes. You're an independent contractor, not an employee. We'll ask for a W-9 before paying, and we'll issue a 1099 if U.S. tax rules require one. You're responsible for your own taxes.
Disclosure. You must clearly disclose your commission wherever you share your code (FTC Endorsement Guides).
Honest claims only. Don't say Life Academy is accredited, guarantees results, or includes an AI tutor. Use our wording: "built to help meet homeschool requirements in all 50 states." No fake or incentivized reviews.
Prohibited promotion. No spam or unsolicited bulk messages, no bidding on "Life Academy" in search ads, no coupon-site listings, and no posting in groups or forums against their rules.
Ending. Either side can end the ambassadorship anytime by email. Earned, unpaid commissions of $25 or more are paid if you followed these terms.
