Grade 10 — Year Plan

Life Academy · Universal United States secondary curriculum · Carnegie-unit credit framing

Goal: College- and career-ready academic year with transcript language parents can use.

Not a state diploma. Not state-locked. Parents remain responsible for their state’s homeschool notice, portfolio, and dual-enrollment rules.

Credit titles (transcript language)

Subject categories: English · Math · Science · History / Social Studies · STEM · Driver Education · Life Skills / Electives

Driver Education (0.5) remains an available elective if not taken in Grade 9. Theory hours may count; behind-the-wheel follows state DMV rules.

Hours framing: ~120–150 hours guided study ≈ 1.0 credit when Friday mastery gates are passed and evidence is kept.

Sample transcript line:

> *English 10: World Lit & Argument — Life Academy — 1.0 credit — Grade: A — Evidence: Week 1–36 mastery gates; revised essays; seminar defenses; midyear + final portfolio.*
