Evidence an auditor would actually ask for

Accreditation does not grade “whether the worksheets look nice.” It audits a school: purpose, teaching and assessment, student records, who is in charge, and whether results improve. Life Academy is not currently accredited. This page maps today’s curriculum and Classroom records onto those domains so Track A families — and a future Track B school — are building the right file.

Do not tell a college or a neighbor that this site is accredited. Candidacy is not accreditation. A full K–12 map is not accreditation. If we ever earn status, we will name the agency and the date.

What we tailored the Classroom to produce

Typical audit domainWhat Life Academy already generates
Written curriculum & scope 36-week maps in every grade, STEM pathway (NGSS-style science, CSTA computational thinking, engineering, age-right AI literacy), Life Skills applied work each week.
Assessment system Guided practice, independent work, Friday mastery quizzes with shuffled options, teach-back notes, labs. Scores save on the device.
Published grading scale K–5 mastery labels (Exceeds / Meets / Developing / Beginning). 6–12 letter grades on a posted unweighted 4.0 scale. Credit posts only with completion + mastery.
Official student records Live elementary, middle, and high-school transcripts, gradebook, report card, instructional-day log, JSON backup/restore.
Carnegie / college-prep language 9–12 transcript uses 1.0 / 0.5 credits and a 22–24 credit target. Middle school uses pathway credits. K–5 does not fake high-school units.
Attendance Each “lesson complete” logs a school day on this device. Print it with the transcript.
Writing, research, citations English I–IV required papers live in Paper Studio. Citation Helper (MLA/APA) and a public-domain Source Library stay on campus. Saved papers print on the 9–12 transcript as writing evidence.
On-campus labs Science, math, history, and English labs run on the lesson page (equal groups, circuits, particles, federal vs state, quote/citation). Not an off-site simulation classroom.
Electives vs core Driver’s Ed and Business & Economics are elective courses, printed on a separate addendum — not bundled into the homeschool plan.
Governance, finances, hired faculty, FERPA SIS Not this product. Those are Track B school-of-record items on the roadmap. Curriculum cannot fake them.

How a family uses this now (Track A)

If Life Academy later becomes a school of record, these same artifacts — maps, assessments, transcripts, scale, attendance — become the self-study binder. That is the point of tailoring the product to the guide without lying about status.
