Meet Lumi

Hi friend! I’m Lumi. Today we learn letters, words, and counting — like a real tutor, but at home.

You say (parent) “What do you see in the picture?” Then: “We’ll look, listen, and say words. Tap pictures to hear them.”

You say (parent) After each word: “Your turn — say apple.” Do not ask them to guess the word from the picture alone when reading later — pictures help meaning; sounds teach reading.
Letter sounds (phonics)

Letters make sounds

Tap a letter. Hear its sound. Then find a picture that starts with that sound.

You say (parent) “A says ah — like apple.” Child repeats. Sky-write the letter together. This is Science of Reading phonics — what strong private K programs teach.

You say (parent) Ask: “How did they feel?” (sad). “What kind thing happened?” Then play Skill Gym → Story Check for a 1-minute comprehension game.
