What this academy actually teaches

Life Academy is a parent-directed K–12 online curriculum: 36 weeks × 5 cores, plus a K–12 STEM pathway, Spanish I–II, Driver’s Ed, and Business & Economics. It is not a state diploma and it is not currently accredited. The academic bar is college-prep rigor for every U.S. family. It is built so a child at a laptop can be taught — not quizzed on a title they never saw.

Every core lesson uses the same academic loop top tutors use: I do → we do → you do → mastery check → teach-back. Interactive labs sit on the page. K–2 phonics labs speak the letter sounds and the word. Every lesson has Read the lesson aloud. English I–IV write papers with an on-site Citation Helper. History reads public-domain documents hosted here. We do not send students to Khan, YouTube, or PhET to be taught.

College-prep rigor, not one-state geography

Every family gets Science of Reading (no three-cueing), mastery math, inquiry plus engineering, and a STEM pathway from Kindergarten ramps through Grade 9 Python. High school names the courses colleges already look for. We do not teach one state’s towns as the social-studies spine. We teach at that level of difficulty, everywhere.

What stays on campus

We do not claim a custom filmed lecture for every one of the 2,340 core lessons. That would be a lie. We claim a teachable page, an on-campus lab, and a writing/research desk — not a tour of other people's websites.
