Online homeschool curriculum for Texas, Florida, Arizona and Utah
Life Academy is a K–12 online curriculum: 36 weeks per grade of English, math, science, history, and life skills. You stay the school of record. Here's how it fits in four states where many of our families live.

Plans are $35/month per student or $69/month per family of up to 4. Week 1 of every grade is free with no card. Life Academy is not accredited. In each of these states, the parent-directed homeschool is the school, so that's typical for homeschool curriculum.
Texas
Texas treats homeschools as private schools with very light rules: a written curriculum covering reading, spelling, grammar, math, and good citizenship, taught in a bona fide way. Life Academy covers those subjects and gives you records. The state's new education savings program (TEFA) is still being set up for vendors. We're working on the curriculum side; tutoring isn't eligible there yet. Full Texas homeschool guide →
Florida
Florida home education needs a notice of intent to your county, a portfolio, and an annual evaluation. Life Academy's lesson records, grades, and work samples help with the portfolio. Our Step Up for Students supplier application is pending, so don't count on scholarship funds for Life Academy yet. Full Florida homeschool guide →
Arizona
Arizona asks for a one-time affidavit with your county school superintendent. Many families use the Empowerment Scholarship Account (ESA). Arizona ESA families can pay for Life Academy tutoring through ClassWallet now. Our curriculum submission is under review. Full Arizona homeschool guide → · ESA overview
Utah
Utah requires a one-time affidavit with your school district. The Utah Fits All scholarship is a possible funding route. Our vendor status there is pending. Full Utah homeschool guide →
Add live help when you need it
The curriculum is self-serve. When a child needs a real person, I offer 1:1 tutoring. Your first hour is $25. Every state's guide: all 50 states.
Who you'll work with
I'm David Clifford, the one person behind Life Academy. I've tutored for 8 years, worked as a substitute teacher for Pasco County Schools (including long-term assignments), and hold a BAS degree, cum laude. Every session is live, 1:1, with me, on Zoom or Google Meet. No AI tutor, no handoff to someone else.
Price
$35/hour. Your first full hour is $25. A 4-hour bundle is $130. Book at least 24 hours ahead; a free 15-minute consult is available first. Tutoring is sold separately from the homeschool plans. See the refund policy.
Not ready to book? Two free ways to see how I teach: free Math Office Hours (grades 2–8, a 30-minute live drop-in every Tuesday at 8 PM ET) and the free Week 1 of every grade in the Life Academy classroom, no card needed.
