Graphing Calculator
Type a function of x, like y = 2x + 1 or x^2 - 4, and see its graph. Drag to move, pinch or use the buttons to zoom, and tap the graph to trace a point.
Learn How it works
- Lines
y = mx + b: m is the slope (rise over run) and b is where the line crosses the y-axis. - Parabolas
y = a(x − h)^2 + k: the vertex is (h, k). If a > 0 it opens up. - Zeros (x-intercepts) are where the graph crosses the x-axis, where y = 0.
- Intersections of two graphs are the solutions to a system of equations.

Answer, then tap Check. You get an explanation either way.
2x + 1 = −x + 4 → 3x = 3 → x = 1 (the point is (1, 3)).
