• Turnaround facts: 3 × 7 = 7 × 3. If you know one, you know both, so the chart is really only half as big.
• Patterns: ×10 adds a zero. ×5 answers end in 0 or 5. ×9: the digits add to 9 (9 × 6 = 54, 5 + 4 = 9).
• Doubles: ×4 is double, then double again. ×8 is double three times.
